Danim Backpackers Daegu

I only stayed for one night, still the staff member, who apoke good English, took a lot of her time to give me some help on some info that I needed and I got the chance to meet some of her friends she had invited that evening. The hostel was very clean, which I truly appreciated since that is not always the case in hostels. The living room is well furnished and there is space in the kitchen. The location is great, only five minutes from the metro station and easy to find, downtown in Daegu. Opportunity for growth : the map of the area I was given wasn't very detailed. Another good thing about that hostel : Also you can read the Korea lonely planet guidebook that is at your disposal in the living room.

Great breakfast and the staff was extremely kind. It is set up just like a home so it was super cozy.

You can't pay with your card there so be prepared to pay in cash or transfer money.

Had a nice weekend stay with my friend. We had the female dorm to ourselves which was nice. Shower+bathroom was a bit old but it didn’t bother me too much. Bed was comfy and they provided a small towel, shampoo and body wash. Not noisy location but very close to downtown. Easy to find wth directions. Super friendly staff :) breakfast was simple but good to start off the morning with. Nice rooftop. Would recommend.

The staff is really nice and helpful! Breakfast is good (you can cook your own eggs)! Location is really good, fee mins walks from the city centre!

Matress was really hard. On the first morning I was there, that hostel was full, the 2 toilets were not enough for all the guests!

The feeling there was very much just like home. I really liked it, felt really cozy and got allot of help with suggestions and recommendations. Felt sad to be leaving there, really wish I could have stayed longer!

Location was fantastic, bed was pretty nice. Bathroom pretty clean, super speed WiFi, manager the lady was so helpful. I Wana say specially thanks to her. All staff were very good.

The staff was really helpful and easy to reach. I checked-in myself with the well-written instructions from the staff. I had tons of questions before and even when I got there. They responded my inquiries very promptly. It has a rooftop where you could hang your laundry. It's also a nice place to drink beer at night. It has a nice mom-and-pop supermarket nearby. There were also some unique stores to browse around. It is very close to the metro station too. What got me was the staff who even walked to the post office with me and helped me sending some packages. She speaks English very well so I never had problems communicating with her. And the guesthouse was just like someone's apartment. It's cozy and homelike feel.

The stairs to the guesthouse were narrow. If you had a huge suitcase, it could be a problem.

Helpful and friendly staff. It is like stay in a flat with friends. You can make your own eggs at breakfast and the staff will help you have a fun day and night and will.socialise with you in the evening. Bedroom and bathroom are fine.

Few mosquitos but may just be because of the time of year.

We spent amazing two days in Danim Backpackers. There are amazing stuff guys..! Thanks to them we explored surroundings and enjoyed our stay. Only thing was that the 'living room' was a bit crowded with stuff. It looked like someone is moving in/out of the apartment. Metro station is less than 5 mins walk. Thank you <3

The manager is really helpful and sweet. There's a phone near the door with the phone number of the manager if you need help and she isn't there.

Maybe the fact that I checked in myself? (But I didn't mind)

Sehr gemütlich, super Innenstadtlage und freundlicher Besitzer, der zudem sehr gut Englisch spricht.

Bettdecke und Matratze hatten eklige Flecken. Badezimmer renovierungsbedürftig.

Die Gegend ist nicht so schlimm, wie einige hier Beschrieben haben. Ich habe mich auch mitten in der Nacht auf dem Weg dorthin sicher gefühlt. Auch gibt es 2 Toiletten, wovon eine abschließbar ist und bei der anderen groß "Knock" dran steht. Waschen ist übrigens kostenlos!!! Und einen Trockner braucht man bei den Temperaturen im Sommer zumindest nicht.

Dass das Personal viel trinkt stimmt. Auch die 2. Toilette und die Küche fand ich nicht ganz so sauber.

방은 정말 깨끗했습니다. 직원 분도 직접 만나뵙지는 못했지만, 문자나 전화로 친절하게 응대해주셨습니다. 무엇보다 숙소 위치가 정말 좋습니다:) 주위 가까운 곳에 맛집도 많고요! 아랫층만해도 유명한 까페인 것 같았습니다.

오래된 건물인 것 같았습니다. 방은 깨끗했는데, 샤워실은 청결하단 느낌을 받지 못했습니다. 그리고 물이 수도관에서 나오면서 바로 따뜻해지는 방식이 아니라, 데워서 사용하는 방식이라 아침에 샤워하는 분들이 많아 제가 샤워할 때는 거의 찬물로 샤워했습니다.. 이 부분 감안하셔야 할 것 같아요!

당일 예약을 하루 밀려서 하였고, 심지어 하던 일이 늦게 끝나 밤 10시가 넘어 도착했는데 그 점을 이해해주시고, 늦게 맞아주셔서 정말 죄송했습니다. 오래된 가정집 느낌의 게스트하우스라서 대구에 사는 친구집에 초대받은 느낌이 드는 게스트하우스 였습니다. 오래되긴 했지만 청결하지 않거나 하는 것도 없었고, 스태프분들께서 상당히 친절하셔서 밤에 같이 맥주 한잔 먹으면서 도란도란 이야기 나누기도 좋았던 것 같습니다. 위치역시 대구에서 문화행사가 많은 지역에 위치해서 다음에 여행을 목적으로 대구에 온다면 몇일 머물면서 있고 싶은 게스트하우스입니다.

요즘 많이 볼 수 있는 호스텔 느낌의 조용한 게스트하우스를 찾으신다면 맞지 않을수도 있겠다는 생각이 들었습니다. 하지만 다른 여행객분들과 함께 할 수 있는 게스트하우스를 찾으신다면 이곳만한 곳도 없겠지요.

잠자리가 딱히 불편하지 않았고 스탭들이 다들 친절했음, 아침은 귀찮아서 안먹음 이 가격에 이만한 곳 절대 없을 듯 :)

스탭들이 한국어에 완전히 익숙하지 않은데 또 어지간한 한국어는 잘함, 영어로 해야할 지 한국어로 해야할 지 혼돈이 살짝 옴. 저녁에 다같이 모일 수 있는 장을 만들어줬으면 조금 더 좋았을 듯

골목에 있어서 밤에 찾기도 힘들었고 카드 결제 안된다고 계좌이체, 현금만 결제 가능하다고 해서 당황했어요 공지사항에 쓰셔야될듯 숙소 청결 너무 안 좋아요 먼지에 머리카락에 12시가 넘었는데도 거실에서 술먹고 시끄러워서 잠 하나도 못자고 최악이예요 공짜로 자라고 해도 다시는 안 갈 숙소

수건,욕실용품등을 무료로 사용할수있고 아침에 토스트를 먹을수 있어서 좋았습니다. 직원분 응대도 너무 친절해서 좋았고 위치도 좋았습니다!

화장실이 조금 아쉬웠습니다.

nice location, nice staffs. You will be able to experience a real Korean style home. 찾아본 중에 가장 저렴한 숙소였고, 스텝분들이 친절하세요. 구비되어있는 물품들이 많아서 국내여행할 때 좋을 것 같아요.
